Ahoy, Dakota!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited about your little buccaneer's birthday celebration aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy next year! My family and I have celebrated many wonderful milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements and graduations on Disney Cruises! Celebrating with Captain Mickey makes any occasion so magical.
I'm thrilled to share that you'll be welcome to book advance reservations for your little pirate in
"it's a small world" nursery! "it's a small world" nursery! is perfect for the smallest cruisers, ages 6 months to 3 years old (or 1 to 3 years old on certain voyages). This adorably fun Youth Club is an additional hourly rate and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your son turns 3, and if he is fully potty trained, he can also participate in Disney's Oceaneer Lab and Disney's Oceaneer Club! These two Youth Clubs are bursting with fun and exploration and are included with your cruise fare. (If he's not fully potty trained but still would like to visit, he may visit with you during the Youth Activities Open House!)
I'm not aware of any cakes on deck, but check out the
Gifts & Amenities page to pre-order the perfect Mickey-shaped celebratory cake! You can also find really cute birthday decorations that "magically" appear set up inside your stateroom upon your arrival! Your son would be so surprised entering your stateroom the first time and seeing it decorated for his birthday!
Dakota, thank you for sailing by and asking these excellent questions! If we can help make your son's birthday cruise any more magical, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
