We have booked a cruise on the Disney Dream for March 2011. Our 5 kids range in age from 10-17. I'm wondering if the ages listed for the youth "clubs" are just general guidelines, or if they are strict. One club of interest says it is for ages 11

    Hi Casey,

I'm guessing that you are referring to Edge on the Disney Dream, and you're hoping to have your 10 year old join in with his/her siblings?  I wish I had a better answer for you, but at this time we simply don't know.  The age guidelines were put in place based on feedback and research from the other ships - and since this ship has yet to sail it's any ones best guess.  Typically they try to take into consideration specific requests when approached by a family - so it won't hurt to ask...I would just avoid making any promises at this time to avoid disappointment later.

    Have a great time!
