Hello Disney Cruiser!
Booking an
Onboard Offer during your Disney Cruise Line vacation is such a great way to save on a future sailing. Plus, I am much happier leaving a cruise knowing that I plan to sail again real soon!
You will need to book your future cruise for a sailing within 24 months. If you need to reschedule after booking,
call a friendly Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who will be happy to assist you. I have found that if I reschedule my cruise (still within the 24 month booking window) I had no problems. I just had to pay any fare difference. However, if you cancel the cruise, you will be refunded the deposit and your placeholder will not be able to be used on a future sailing. It is best to reschedule instead of cancel if you want to keep the discount. Please note that you will want to make changes as soon as possible, so you do not run into making final payments and be past cancelation deadlines. When booking a placeholder reservation, there will be some blockout dates and booking is based on availability.
Did you know that you can book your placeholder reservation online? Log into your Disney Cruise Line account and find your placeholder reservation in the "Already Booked" tab. Select your placeholder reservation then "Search All Cruises." Now the hard part - selecting a sailing from all the wonderful options! Whether you choose a cruise to Alaska filled with adventure, or you prefer to soak in the sun with a cruise to Castaway Cay, your vacation will be filled with magic and pixie dust!
Hopefully the rebooking of your cruise will be smooth sailing and you will have your new sail dates locked in. Then you can begin dreaming of your beautiful ocean views and plenty at-sea fun! Bon Voyage!
