Ahoy Laurie! A cruise to
Alaska is a trip of a lifetime and being on Disney Cruise Line makes it even more magical.
Disney Cruise Line's
alcohol policy states, "liquors, spirits or excess wine and beer purchased in ports of call will be stored until the end of the cruise". When I did this in Jamaica, I received a claim ticket when I turned in my alcohol upon boarding at the port. On disembarkation morning, there was a table set up where I provided my claim ticket to the Cast Member and signed upon receipt of my alcohol. It's as easy as Tarzan swinging from a vine.
I had the pleasure of cruising on the
Disney Wonder on a 7-night itinerary from Vancouver. Having the opportunity to view icebergs and watch humpback whales bottleneck feed in person were some of the best experiences we have ever had. I suggest taking some binoculars for ocean viewing and wearing layers because the weather can be unpredictable.
While on the Disney Wonder, one of your
rotational dining restaurants will be
Tiana's Place on Deck 3, one of my favorite restaurants in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. You get some entertainment from Tiana and her friends as well as a delicious Louisiana-inspired meal in this supper club. Also, having a warm beignet in the
French Quarter Lounge, which is also on Deck 3, after being on the deck when it is chilly out is a nice treat.
If you have any other questions before your magical vacation, cruise back to
planDisney and we will be happy to help.
Have a wonderful cruise,
JoVonn
