I booked a cruise added my baby but he has not been born yet so I put in a due date in as the birthdate. He will be 6 months by the time we travel. But will I be able to update his birthdate when he arrives? Do I need to call?

    Hi April,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

First things first – congratulations! I’m truly thrilled to hear that you have a baby on the and what better way to say “Welcome to the World!” than by booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation. I cruised with my son when he was an infant and it was such a wonderful trip. Disney really does go out of its way to make cruising fun for everyone by making Travelling with Little Ones so much easier, with special amenities and activities designed just for them!

I highly recommend that you either call or email Disney Cruise Line once your baby is born to update their date of birth. You’ll need to make sure that this information lines up with the travel documentation that you’ll be using to cruise and you won’t be able to do your Online Check-In if the dates don’t match.

Tip: Don’t forget that, once you’ve paid for your cruise in full, you’ll be able to make reservations for a whole bunch of Port Adventures and other activities, including reserving time in the “it’s a small world" nursery! for your baby.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
