Hey there, Colleen. Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for the awesome question. Booking packages through Costco comes with great value, but it usually means getting everything synced takes a little more work. It’s worth it in my opinion, so let’s get it done.
Colleen, did you know that if you’re staying at a
Disney Good Neighbor Hotel, like the Westin Anaheim, you can link your hotel reservation to your Disney account? Let’s try it! If this works, we’re on the right path to making your park reservation. On your computer, go to
Disneyland.com and log in to your account. Hover over “My Disneyland” and click on “Tickets and Reservation Details.” From here, go to the second option down, which is “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” then click “Retrieve Hotel Reservation.” Enter your reservation or confirmation number and last name on the reservation, and it should all link up. You’ll be prompted to make a park reservation!
There are varying reports about what happens next. Some of my planDisney pals claim that your tickets should appear immediately, and others indicate that your tickets will arrive in your app 3 or 4 days before your reservation. In the end, I think that if you have your hotel linked and a park reservation made, you should be good. If you don’t see your tickets in your app, and you’ve patiently waited until 3 days before your arrival, it’s probably time to call a friendly cast member at the
ticket line for help.
Colleen, my love for the Disneyland Resort knows no bounds, and I’m so excited for your trip. Did you know that you’ll be present for the uplifting annual concert
Celebrate Gospel in the
Downtown Disney District? This celebration is a weekend full of performances by community choirs from Southern California, and features gospel singer and actress Yolanda Adams during your stay at the resort. Don’t miss it.
Colleen, I hope your planning is smooth as can be from here on out. If it isn’t, or you simply want tips to take the trip to the next level, come on back to
planDisney, and we’ll help you out. Have a magical day.
Corey
