Booked Copper creek studio. Are the walk in showers on certain floors? Would prefer to be on low floor but would like to book the walk in shower type room. Any recommendations to request a good location closest to lobby? Thanks!

“Welcome home,” Anita! It’s great to chat with you again about my home resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Anita, I love the design of the deluxe studios (and the 1-, 2- and 3-Bedroom Villas). The contrast between the warm wood and the white walls, the luxurious but rustic fixtures and the touches of stonework- I love it all! Anita, part of the appeal of these studios is certainly found in the bathrooms, so let’s talk about what you’ll find.
To your question, the walk-in showers are not restricted to one floor or one area, but available throughout. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member and have booked using points, I recommend checking your reservation as you are able to specifically reserve a deluxe studio with a walk-in shower (in its own booking category). By logging into your Member Dashboard, you can see the specifics of your reservation by clicking on the dates reserved.

If you have booked the deluxe studio as a cash stay, I encourage you to call into the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and request a walk-in shower. Anita, while the Cast Members do their very best, keep in mind that requests are not guaranteed.

Now, Anita, let’s talk about your studio location within the resort. My husband and I often talk about how this resort feels both sprawling and compact all at the same time, meaning I can’t think of an undesirable location! Even rooms on the higher floors are only an elevator ride away from the hustle and bustle of the gorgeous lobby. Now, having said that, we all have our preferences. Since you’d like to be on a lower floor, this is also something you can request by calling into Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or during Online Check-in. Anita, a word of caution, however. You may need to consider which of your requests takes priority over the other as it is possible that one request may be easily granted while both are not. In this instance, if your desire for a walk-in shower feels like a “must,” but the location of your room is less important, please indicate to the Cast Member which is your main request.

Anita, I hope this helps as you are looking ahead to your next vacation. Visiting Disney’s Wilderness Lodge during December takes an already Magical place and transforms it into a whimsical winter paradise and I can’t wait for you to experience the grandeur.

Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. Like Anna helps Elsa, we are here to help you!
