Booked the Cont. Tower Room with MK view for Feb 1-8 2009 I know there is alot a construction going on at this hotel. WIll the construction be complete for our stay? I don't want to have our view ruined by construction...should I switch resorts? Thanks!!!!

    Hi Ashly,

My family stayed in the Contemporary Resort last year in a tower room with a view of the Magic Kingdom and it quickly became my favorite resort.  When I stayed there, I was in a newly renovated room and they were in the processes of renovating all the other rooms.  Even though there was construction going on, it did not interfere with my trip in the least.  Saying that, almost all the construction is completed.  All the rooms have been converted, the arcade and gift shops are all new, the front lobby is brand new and gorgeous.  You will also be able to enjoy the new casual dining restaurant, The Wave.

If you switch resorts you will be giving another family the amazing opportunity to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the best seat in WDW, not mention stay in the most breath taking rooms in WDW.

That's just my opinion.  The Grand Floridian and the Animal Kingdom Lodge are also very nice.
