    We have booked many Character dining experiences. We wil be staying at AOA but want to know the best way to get to these reservations? Does the resort have a shuttle to the different resorts? I also would like to know approx. how far away is AOA from MK

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family just got back from Disney's Art of Animation Resort a few weeks ago and we loved the amazing theming of the hotel as well as Landscape of Flavors, the hotel's fantastic quick service restaurant. You will be able to use complimentary resort transportation to get from your hotel to other locations at Walt Disney World Resort. If the restaurant is located in another hotel, then you will need to transfer either to another bus, monorail or boat to get to your hotel.

    Just this week, the My Disney Experience mobile app was updated with awesome new functionality that will help you plan your vacation transportation. You can now get turn-by-turn navigation directions in the app for places around the resort. Simply search for the restaurant where you have reservations and select the 'Get Directions' button, enter Disney's Art of Animation Resort for your starting point and the app will provide the route options, approximate travel time and turn-by-turn directions for the option you select. It will give you both walking and transportation directions, as appropriate. This feature will also be helpful once you get to the resort to help you navigate to your reservations!

    I recommend that you plan 60 minutes transportation time between Disney's Art of Animation and Magic Kingdom. I took a peek at the directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app and my estimates were pretty close when you include time that you may have to wait for a bus.
