Hello, I booked a Character Breakfast for me and my boyfriend on our first day at Disney World, at Ohana at 9:30 am. We are staying at Art of Animation. What is the best way to get there, and what time should we leave our hotel? Thank You!

    Hi Nicola,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you have booked a Character Meal! The character interactions are so much fun!

If you have not already done so, I suggest that you download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. The app has a handy feature that will allow you to see directions and estimated transit times between locations. In the app, just type in a location. Once you click on the location link, you should see an option to "Get Directions." From Disney's Art of Animation Resort, take the bus to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. From Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, take the bus to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The estimated transit time is 65 minutes. Or, you could take the bus to Magic Kingdom. From Magic Kingdom, take the Resort Monorail to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The estimated transit time is 70 minutes. Given the transit time, I suggest that you leave your resort by 8:10 a.m.

The My Disney Experience mobile app is amazing! We use it to check wait times for rides and get directions. If we have time between Fast Pass+ reservations, we check the wait times for rides and then head to a ride that has a shorter wait time. Doing so helps us maximize our time in the parks.

Can you do me a favor when you visit 'Ohana? Please ask Stich to stop taking my socks. I am absolutely certain he has been hiding them!

I do hope you have a magical time!
