we are booked @CBR for 11/4/14. but now i see standard rooms can be booked for AOA. Have DD3 which one will have a better pool for my daughter? She likes slides and water play areas.

    Hi, Nathan!

While I have not seen the pool at the new Art of Animation Resort and I am sure it will be nice, I have visited the main Pirate Pool near Old Port Royale at Caribbean Beach and it is awesome!   This main pool area has a slide, play areas and is a bundle of fun for kids of all ages.

Unless they changed things up for the new Art of Animation Resort, Value Resorts do NOT have pool slides, so if you definitely want a slide, stick with a Moderate Resort like Caribbean Beach.

If you are looking to stay on a budget and standard rooms are available at Art of Animation, you might save some money by re-booking to this new resort.  But, you will lose the fancy Pirate Pool (plus 6 additional pools scattered around Caribbean Beach.) Personally, I would stick with your reservation and request a room near Old Port Royale so you can be close to the pool, food court, and all the fun.  Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
