I've booked the CBR (pirate room) for July but I'm contemplating upgrading to the Polynesian for the convenience of the monorail. I'll be traveling with DH and kids ages 1,2,8,9. I think the older two will really enjoy the theme at the CBR though. Help.

Hi Camil!  I have indeed seen the new pirate rooms at the Caribbean Beach resort and they are very cute!  However, I always encourage the upgrade if your budget permits as the resorts offer more amenities and you will save time with transportation especially for the Magic Kingdom park from the Polynesian resort.

If the pirate theme is the only reason you are choosing the Caribbean Beach then I would suggest instead staying at the Polynesian and perhaps reserving one of the pirate cruises for your oldest to enjoy during your stay.  For more information please call 407-939-7529. Families generally don't spend enough time in the rooms to make the actual room decor a deciding factor.  Location to me is far more important when selecting a resort.

The Polynesian is a special resort that has a huge number of returning happy guests every year.
