Hi Janet! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're headed back to the islands to chat about Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!
My friends on the Panel know that I adore the Caribbean Beach Resort. It's the best of both worlds - a relaxing retreat that still has plenty of fun things to do, and all at the family-friendly price of a Moderate resort. I'm sure your family will just love it!
You'll find the Rapid Fill mug stations only in the Old Port Royale Food Court in the center of the resort. If being close to Old Port Royale is a priority for you, the villages of Martinique and Trinidad North are your best bet. These are considered preferred room locations, so you'll pay a little extra for them.
Another option to consider is to request Aruba or Jamaica, which are located just across the bridge from Old Port Royale. They're a little farther than Martinique and Trinidad North, but they're the closest villages that are not considered preferred. Building 51 in Aruba and building 45 in Jamaica are closest to the bridge that leads to the center of the resort. The walk is still only a few minutes, and it's actually a pleasant stroll through Caribbean Cay over to Old Port Royale for your morning coffee.
Keep in mind that room requests can't be guaranteed, but in my experience the Cast Members will do their best to help you find your perfect location.
Janet, I hope this helps you plan a wonderful stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!
Have a magical day,
Kathy K.
