    Hi moms! I just booked Cape M. Cafe for breakfast for myself and husband. He is not a huge fan of interacting with characters, and would rather watch the fun instead of interact. Is this an option? I have not done a character dinning experience before. Thx

    Hello Jeana!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    Cape May Cafe for breakfast is such a great meal!  The buffet is delicious and the restaurant itself has such a laid back feel.  This character meal is off the beaten path so it's not as crowded as others, which I really like.  I like to recommend character meals to people who don't want to wait in line to see characters or even interact with them but still want to have some fun just being around them.  When you are seated, let your server know that you would like no character interaction.  The server will then pass along that information to the character's handler walking around with him or her.  The character will skip your table but you will still have the experience of being at a character meal.  If you change your mind, you can tell your server that as well.  

    Disney does such a great job of accommodating all types of requests, this will be no big deal.  Have a great breakfast!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
