We booked Canadian Resident tickets. Do we need to use Canadian Passports to claim the tickets? Can we use drivers license instead? Do I also need to provide proof of citizenship for my child?

    Hi Alesia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. It’s always a pleasure to meet my fellow Canadians!

Typically, a Canadian passport is the recommended form of identification for picking up your specially priced Canadian resident Theme Park Tickets. However, if you don’t feel comfortable bringing your Passport with you, here’s what I recommend: make sure to have your driver’s license, or other government-issued photo identification which clearly indicates your Canadian address, and have a picture or photocopy of your passport on hand, just in case.

As for your child, I would recommend having their Passport or, at the very least, a copy or picture of it on hand when you pick up their Theme Park Tickets, too.

I hope my answer helps get your visit to Walt Disney World Resort off to a great start! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
