We are booked for breakfast at the contemporary at 7.00am and hoping to be at the park for opening is this realistic as I am unsure of the distance between the dining room and the park, I am also unsure of the parking arrangements

    Hi Paul,

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is an absolutely fantastic way to start your day!

As you are asking about parking arrangements, I am assuming that you will be staying off-site.

You will need to drive directly to the Contemporary Resort and when asked state that you have a dining reservation at Chef Mickeys. You will then be permitted to park your car at the resort for up to 3 hours.

Once you have finished your breakfast you will have to move your car to the Magic Kingdom parking lot for the remainder of the day,

There is a chance that you will be at the Magic Kingdom for park opening but you will be cutting it fine. I would allow approximately 1 hour for your breakfast with Mickey and the gang and then up to 1 hour for driving from the Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom parking lot and then catching a bus or monorail from the Transportation & Ticket Centre to the Magic Kingdom.

If you were staying on-site once you had finished your breakfast you would only have a 5-10 minute walk or monorail journey over to the Magic Kingdom and would definitely make it there in time for park opening.

    Wishing you a magical holiday!
