    We have booked breakfast at chef mickey on our 1st full day at disney world in august and are staying in the port orleans French quater. Our reservation is for 7.40 will we be able to take the disney buses or will we need to book a taxi?

    Hello Sara and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's always an extra pleasure for me to help a fellow British Guest with their magical plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort! 
    I'm so excited to know you will be staying in the beautiful Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, this delightful Resort is filled with the romance and jazz heritage of New Orleans and for an evening of music & fun I highly recommend you seek out Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge at the neighbouring Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. 
    Chef Mickey's is most everyones favourite Disney Character dining experience and I believe it will make the perfect beginning to your Disney holiday.
    When using the complimentary Disney Resort transportation I usually suggest allowing up to 1 hour travel time and as in this Frequently Asked Questions - Transportation, Resort buses generally operate 45 minutes prior to Theme Park opening and for up to 1 hour after closing. All current Park Hours & Calendars can be viewed via this link. 
    Hiring the services of a taxi is a great idea, especially for 1st thing in the morning! The easiest way to organise one is by speaking to a helpful Cast Member at Bell Services (which is located in the lobby area of each Resort hotel) who will, on your behalf arrange a taxi pick-up from a Disney authorised taxi cab company.
