I booked Brdwlk so that we would have ExtraEvHours at Epcot. I found out they let guests in lines up to 1 minute before park closing. Do you know if Evening Hrs peple get LLane? If there is already 1 hr wait when our time starts it defeats the purpose

    Hiya, Teresa.

Welcome back to planDisney! Boy oh boy, your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is right around the corner. Can you believe you'll be immersed in the EARidescent excitement of the 50th Anniversary Celebration in less than a month? Let the final countdown commence!

I’m excited to hear you've chosen Disney’s BoardWalk Inn as your home away from home for your vacation. This Disney Resorts Collection hotel has been at the top of my Disney bucket list to stay at for quite some time since its proximity to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is unmatched. Plus, you’ll have quick access to the array of offerings at Disney’s BoardWalk, which means you can get a delicious Shore-Side Sundae with SNICKERS from BoardWalk Ice Cream anytime you want. I’m confident you’ll be more than pleased with your stay.

Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are a fantastic benefit that's available to Deluxe Resort Hotel Guests. On select nights of your vacation, you’ll have more time to play in either Magic Kingdom Park or EPCOT after they close for the day. While it’s true that day Guests at the theme parks can enter the standby line for an attraction up to the official park closing time, in my experience the wait times for attractions right after closing are not at all atrocious. In fact, from what I’ve witnessed, most attractions during the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours have virtually no wait at all. Now, you may see a short wait with the most popular EPCOT attractions, like Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, but it’s nothing like you would see during the normal daytime park hours. Lightning Lanes entrances are not typically utilized during these events, but that’s always subject to change. I encourage you to ask for more details from a Cast Member when you arrive at EPCOT for the night.

I hope you are planning on visiting the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your trip. This Festival is one of my favorite annual events at Walt Disney World Resort. You can visit a butterfly house, sample delicious sips and eats at the Outdoor Kitchens, and even find topiaries of your favorite Disney characters throughout the park. You won't want to miss out on all the fun!

Teresa, I hope this information clears things up for you. If I misunderstood your question or you need further clarification, please stop by and let me know. Remember, you are the magic!

    See ya real soon,
    Alyssa
