Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Sudha!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. How exciting that you are planning to visit Walt Disney World at the merriest time of year. Visiting at Christmas is such a magical experience. The parks are decked to the halls and full of Disney and holiday magic!
Sudha, our family just stayed in a one-bedroom
Villa at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. We love the home-away-from-home amenities in the Villas because they come with a full-sized kitchen, with gadgets and gizmos aplenty, so you can make breakfasts, snacks, dinners, and even bake some holiday cookies! It's the perfect way to enjoy your home-sweet-Disney-home while being immersed in the magic.
Sudha, the
one-bedroom Villa at Disney's BoardWalk Resort comes with a king-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Some of the Villas only accommodate four Guests, but some of them can accommodate five. If it says it can accommodate five, this typically means you need to request an inflatable mattress from Guest Services for this particular Resort. We did this recently, and you just need to call Guest Services to request it. Please note, these are pending availability, but we have never had a problem getting one.
If you need any additional supplies for your Villa, such as more coffee or tea, extra blankets, towels, sheets, etc, you can request those using the
"Hey Disney" device in your room. It is the electronic with the Mickey Ears. You can't request the inflatable mattress through this device - you have to call Guest Services for that. But everything else you may need can be requested through "Hey Disney." Just say, "Hey Disney, show me what you can do," and it will give you a range of options. You can request items for your room, ask it for park hours and weather, and more. You can even request a wake-up call from your favorite Mouse!
I hope this helps you, Sudha! If you have any further questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you. I'm right here, at the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning.
Magically Yours,
Keri
