"Welcome Home," MaryAnn! It's a pleasure to have you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, planning your September vacation!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort was my second stay as a
Disney Vacation Club Member and I fell in love with this property! I couldn't believe how convenient the walk was to
Magic Kingdom Park and reveled in the luxury of watching
Happily Ever After from the balcony in our villa. During that stay, my husband and I had a Theme Park View as you will in your 2-Bedroom Villa.
MaryAnn, to your question, my best recommendation would be to request
the highest floor available.
Remembering that requests aren't guaranteed, the highest floor available will give you the best vantage point to see the fireworks at night and see the most of Magic Kingdom Park. With your Theme Park View, you will see a parking lot in the foreground and in my opinion, it is less of a focus, the higher up you are.
Since I mentioned the highest floor possible, don't forget to stop by
Top of the World Lounge, located on the 16th floor. For the exclusive use of Disney Vacation Club Members, this space is such a great spot to unwind after a full day of park touring or to grab a drink and cool off before a night out. To access this lounge, all you need to do is check-in on the ground floor with your membership card.
MaryAnn, I hope this helps as you are looking ahead to September and dreaming of a relaxing vacation in that 2-Bedroom Villa. Please stop back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other planning questions you might have.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted stay,
Lauren
