Marina from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello! If booked in a 1 bedroom villa or higher with a full kitchen, are DVC members able to bring in a small appliance? Like a waffle maker or air fryer? Our family has food allergies so we don’t like to used shared appliances due to cross contamination.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Marina!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  Marina, as a DVC Member for over 20 years, I love the benefits of staying at a Disney Vacation Club Villa.  Full-sized kitchens full of gadgets and gizmos a plenty, lots of sleeping and gathering space for our 'ohana, and my favorite amenity - the in-room washer and dryer - sure make your Villa feel like home sweet home while being immersed in the magic of Disney.

Marina, I double-checked with a Disney Cast Member. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, appliances from home are not permitted in Disney Vacation Club Villas.  If there is something you need that you do not find in your full-sized kitchen, you can certainly call the Front Desk to see if it can be provided.  You can also speak to the Front Desk about your concern regarding cross-contamination to inquire about their cleaning practices to prevent cross-contamination.

Alternatively, the Cast Member informed me that all of Disney's food locations including those in the Resorts, are allergy friendly. When requesting or ordering your meals, just inform the Cast Member and they will make sure to accommodate your allergy requests.

I hope this helps you, Marina.  If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see us and we will be so glad to help you.

    See ya real soon!
