I have booked a 3 bed Grand Villa at the Grand Floridian for March 2026. It is supposedly a DIsney Vacation Club unit. These are not cheap and I want to know if these places are updated and clean? Who furnishes them?

    Hey Patricia!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for trusting us with another question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. We’re so happy you stopped by. I love helping fellow Guests plan their perfect Disney holidays – and it sounds like you’ve got a big one coming up next March with 10 Guests. You must all be so excited!

Patricia, whether you're staying on the hotel side or the Disney Vacation Club side of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can expect the same great quality. Your Grand Villa sleeps up to 12 Guests, and the villas were last refurbished in 2022 as part of the Disney Vacation Club renovation cycle. Did you know, we DVC Members pay annual dues on the properties we own, and a portion of that is reinvested back into the resorts through refurbishments?

I hope this reassures you ahead of your stay in one of the most luxurious rooms at Walt Disney World’s flagship resort. If you notice anything not quite right with the cleanliness of your room, just let the front desk know so they can help resolve any issues.

Being at the Grand Floridian, you're just moments away from all the magic of Magic Kingdom. You’ve got a few options to get there: you can take the Monorail, stroll along the walking path, or, my personal favourite way to travel at Walt Disney World, set sail on the boat. There’s something really special about approaching Cinderella Castle across Seven Seas Lagoon that, in my opinion, just can’t be beaten.

I hope this helps, as you put the finishing touches on your plans to visit next year! I wish you all the BEST time at Walt Disney World! If you have any more vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    See ya real soon!
