Hi Amy, welcome to planDisney. It’s lovely to help a fellow Guest from the UK plan their magical adventure to Disney World… especially when it involves Disney dining!
My family are big fans of all the Mickey-shaped snacks, so you’ve come to the right place with your dining question. I travelled across the pond from the UK last summer and booked the Quick-Service meal package, so I can bring you a little insight into what this includes for your holiday. As a family of sports fans, we stayed at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and loved being immersed in the Disney magic from the moment we arrived.
If you booked the
Free Dining and Drinks offer available to Guests from the UK and Ireland, it sounds like you booked the Free Quick-Service Meal available at
Value Resort Hotels or the Quick-Service Dining Plan available at
Moderate Resort Hotels.
I reached out to a helpful Cast Member, who advised that if you booked your Walt Disney World package directly, you are very
welcome to phone and upgrade your Dining Plan on your current booking, at an additional cost. I hope you’re not too disheartened to hear that, as you have booked through a third-party provider, this may not be an option for you. However, I still recommend giving a
Cast Member a call and talking through your magical options.
There are so many fantastic restaurants throughout Walt Disney World to choose from on both the Quick-Service and Table-Service Dining Plans, Amy! My family loves
Columbia Harbour House at
Magic Kingdom Park for a delicious Quick-Service option, as there is so much variety on the menu. For breakfast,
'Ohana at
Polynesian Village Resort offers a truly unique experience, and my kids loved meeting Lilo and Stitch!
Top Tip: Enjoy viewing
Luminous The Symphony of Us from
La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. Arrive early to get a good seat and a great view. I recommend ordering the Taco Trio from the menu; it’s delicious!
I hope whichever dining option you decide on, Amy, you have the most wonderful time and make memories to last a lifetime.
If you have any more questions, I’d be delighted to help over at
planDisney.
Magic Awaits,
Abi
