We're booked into Atrium level handicap room at the WDW Contemporary Hotel at Christmas and I need to know if the K cup coffeepots have made it to the Atrium level. yet? if not I have a travel coffeepot (drip) I can bring. But I'd like to know

Almost Happy Holidays to you Kathleen!

Walt Disney World is magical all year round, but there is something extra Magical about it during the holidays! All of the Parks and characters are decked out in their holiday attire, and the Resorts are resplendent with chEAR. My favorite thing about the Resorts is that they literally “smell” like Christmas!

You are going to love Disney’s Contemporary Resort! The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is steps away from Magic Kingdom Park, and the monorail runs straight through the Resort! The monorail is one of my twins’ favorite “attraction,” so we spent plenty of time riding it and watching it come and go.

We just got back from a stay on the Atrium Level at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and guess what? The Keurig style K-cup machines have made it! With a Scottish husband, we are tea drinkers in our family, so we didn’t try the coffee, but we enjoyed the English Breakfast brew in our room every morning. So skip the travel pot (especially since small appliances such as it are not allowed in the Resorts!), and enjoy your cuppa in your room!

Kathleen, you mentioned that you booked a handicap accessible room. If any of your party needs a bit of extra assistance in the Parks, please look into the Disability Access Service (DAS), and it’s accompanying Card. Walt Disney World is committed to providing all of its guests, regardless of ability with an excellent experience and the DAS Card helps to accomplish that. Please visit Guest Relations in any of the Parks to discuss your individual needs.

    chEARs to your morning jolt!
