I am booked to arrive a Old Key West in April and am using a timeshare through RCI. I was told it would b easier to buy tickets at check in. They added the dining. Does anyone have any input or feedback on using RCI? How is OKW? rooms? restaurants?

    Hi Norma,

I am a Disney Vacation Club member, and my boys and I have stayed at Old Key West many times.  We absolutely love this property.  It's gorgeous, with an incredible main pool area and fabulous common areas.  You truly will feel like you're in a private resort in the Florida Keys!  The Olivia's the table service restaurant on site has a great, casual atmosphere, wonderful food and THE BEST key lime pie on property!  The studios and villas are huge, and have recently been refurbished.  The rooms are among the largest on property (including at the DVC resorts.)  I think you'll love Old Key West.  As for when to purchase tickets, it's entirely up to you.  I'm a planner and like to do things in advance, so would likely purchase them ahead of time, but you can certainly purchase them when you arrive at Walt Disney World.

Because I'm a DVC member, I haven't used RCI to stay on Disney property, but I have several friends who have stayed at Old Key West through RCI (one just this past April) and had a wonderful experience.

    Have a magical trip!
