Ahoy there, Adam! Welcome aboard planDisney!
In just a few short weeks, your DREAM vacation will be beginning and I am thrilled for you. Here's a
handy packing list that I hope you'll find helpful as you begin to prep those suitcases for adventure.
I have some excellent news for you and your kids! The Disney Cruise Line just
recently updated the protocols for
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab and reservations will not be required for your cruise. This means that whenever your children would like to go and explore these youth-exclusive areas, they will be able to do so! Please keep in mind that it is possible for these spaces to reach capacity, so you can check in advance of your adult-exclusive activities to see if they are getting busy. I've never experienced these spaces at capacity, but I just wanted you to be aware.
Don't let the kids have all the fun! Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on the ship for the activities scheduled for your sailing. Look for an "Open House" in the Oceaneer Lab or Oceaneer Club for a chance for your whole family to enjoy these immersive play areas together. And one last tip, I recommend that you try out the activities that interest you early on in the sailing! You may find something that you love and will want to check out again if it is offered a second time during your cruise.
I hope that you have the best time ever onboard the Disney Cruise Line! Please sail back to planDisney again if we can be of further assistance.
Magic awaits!
