I am confident you and your family will enjoy your stay at the
Art of Animation Resort. The Family Suites are beautiful and extremely comfortable.
When guests make a resort reservation they are simply reserving a space of a room. Guests can request locations but they cannot request specific rooms. Assigning rooms becomes a puzzle and it cannot be put together until just a couple of days before ones arrival. They constantly deal with guests extending their Disney time or canceling a trip so assigning rooms ahead is nearly impossible.
All guests are given equal consideration when it comes to room assignment no matter how you made your initial reservation. You will receive the assignment when you check in or when your room is ready on check-in day. You can do two things if you have a location that is a dream for you and the first thing is to send a FAX about five days before your arrival. You can FAX the Art of Animation Resort, 407-938-7070, and simply ask for a location or floor etc. You can also add that comment to your reservation by going on line or calling central reservations, 407-934-7639, and asking the agent to please add your request comment to your reservation profile.
The last thing you can do is to again ask the cast member at check-in if there is a room that is open in your desired location. Disney tries very hard to make all of their guests happy and they will also do that for you!
