We booked our anniversary trip at the Contemporary in a 1 bedroom suite in the garden wing. Will we be disappointed with our choice? No definitive pics to really see how it looks. First time staying at a resort and we paid a fortune!! Change or keep?

    Welcome BACK, Lisa!

How exciting that you'll be celebrating your anniversary at The Most Magical Place on Earth during The Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Be sure to pick up a set of complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' and 'Happily Ever After' celebration buttons at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel!

Staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort was number one on my Disney Bucket List, which I am so fortunate to say that I checked off this year, twice! I didn't stay in a suite, nor was I in the Garden Wing, but I was able to find your room through google and the room itself looks pretty awesome. You'll have a private bedroom + a full bathroom, with a second full bathroom next to the living room area. Plus it looks like these rooms are situated in a corner so you'll have two side walls of windows.

The majority of Disney's Resort Hotels are a main building where dinning, shopping and hotel services are located, plus a number of guest room only 'outer' buildings. The Garden Wing building is a short walk (literally under five minutes) from the main A-frame building. When comparing other rooms at other Disney Resort Hotels where I've stayed, and thinking about their outer buildings vs. where you'll be, I would definitely stay where you are. However, if you have other ideas about how you'd like to spend your time while in your guest room, like if you dream of drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning, or if it's just you and your spouse and no one else, you might want to call just to see what else is available as these rooms do not have actual balconies (more like sliding glass doors that jut out a bit) and this room is massive for two people.

I hope this helped, Lisa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
