I have booked into Animal Kingdom Lodge for my honeymoon. I am wondering what the difference between the savannah view room and the arusha view is. I have booked savannah view, but want to make sure we will be able to see the animals from our room? Thanks

Hi Michelle - congratulations on your upcoming marriage!  If you have a savanna view room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will definitely be able to see animals from your room.  There are three different savannas located at Animal Kingdom - Arusha is one of them.  The other two are Sunset and Uzima.  When I stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, I prefer the Arusha savanna - mainly due to it's location.  It's on the side of the lodge with the pool, the Mara food court and laundry.  I just found it to be very convenient.  Also, I prefer a room on a lower floor.  I found when being on the higher floors, the tree tops can get in the way of viewing the animals.

It sounds like your reservation is perfect as far as seeing the animals but if you want to add a request for a specific savanna/floor, you can certainly do that.

I hope your vacation is truly magical!
