Hi there, Delores!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you have an
Alaskan adventure planned! My husband and I were just talking about how we need to plan another Alaskan voyage since the last time we cruised through Alaska we had two babies with us! They certainly don’t remember our time there, and I am sure there are things that the sleep-deprived parents don’t remember too! So, sailing with Captain Mickey in Alaska again is definitely on my “to do” list!
One thing about a Disney Cruise Line vacation that I can say without doubt is that you will NOT go hungry! More food than you can ever think of is available to you from the minute you step onboard until your last morning! On embarkation day,
Cabanas, the buffet restaurant will be open for lunch service or if you prefer a seated lunch, one of the main dining rooms will be serving lunch once Guests begin boarding the ship.
Additionally, you can get quick serve-type food (burgers, chicken tenders, etc.) or pizza by the pool! Believe me, you will not go hungry onboard!
When dining onboard the Disney Wonder, my most favorite restaurant is
Tiana’s Place! I always save room for the delicious Cajun menu and especially save room for the dessert – I usually can’t decide between the white chocolate bread pudding and the beignets so I get both! After all, calories are not counted while on the “Mickey Boat”, right?!?!
Wishing you a WONDERful adventure in Alaska!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
