We are booked for the Alaska cruise this summer and I am planning our flight home. Is there an "express lane" for getting off the ship? I know they get you off the ship STAT. But I'm wondering if there is some way to avoid the "baggage cl

    Hi, Sandra!

How exciting that you're on one of the fabulous Disney cruises to Alaska when most will be sweating it out in the summer heat!

On Disembarkation Day, you more than likely will be ashore by 8 a.m.  However, there really isn't an "express lane" for leaving the ship. Depending on how you pack and how many people are traveling with you, you could expedite the baggage claim process at the terminal by carrying off your own luggage.  However, you still will need to make your way through Canadian Customs. (For me and mine, it would be difficult to squeeze 7 days worth of vacation in carry-off luggage!) For more detailed information, you can research the site PortMetroVancouver.com.

I know I can't give you the solid hope you're looking for to make that early flight, but maybe I pointed you in the right direction.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
