    We booked AKL Jambo house this year with a standard view so we could save points and go bigger next year. Are there studios with pool views in the standard category? What would you suggest we request for best non savannah view? Thanks!

    Howdy Lesley!  What a great question!!  I LOVE how strategic you are being with your points!!  You are definitely maximizing your Disney Vacation Club Membership and that is fantastic!!!

    We will be at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas soon and I cannot wait!  It's such an amazing resort and I love that regardless of the view you have from your villa, you have ample opportunities to enjoy the savannas throughout the resort!

    Typically, a "standard view" villa means you will have a view of a parking lot or wooded area.  That being said, there are a variety of room types throughout the resort and I would encourage you to contact DVC Member Services and ask them to make a note on your reservation requesting a pool view if possible.  While there are no guarantees, it doesn't hurt to ask.

    Then, set yourself a reminder and when you are 10 days from check-in, contact Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House at (407) 938-3000 and verify that your request is noted on your reservation.  Again - there are no guarantees but the Cast Members who make the room assignments will do all they can to accommodate you.
