    I booked our airfare 2 days ago for 11/30 but did not book our Value resort @ that time. There looked like plenty of availability. Tonight I went to book the hotel, but they are all booked. How did all the rooms get booked? Is there a waiting list?

    Hi, Julie!  Isn't that SO frustrating!   There are a couple of things you can do . . .

    Now don't be mad at me, but I want you to get up early tomorrow!   Be on your computer between 6:00 a.m and 7:00 a.m. EST.   From what I understand, cancellations from the prior day get posted after the "system" resets overnight.  So hopefully, by hopping on first thing you can grab a room that was cancelled.  It might take a few days doing this to find a room, and I certainly cannot guarantee success, but it has worked for me in the  past for dining reservations.

    In the meantime, book a Moderate Room if available.  I know it might cost more, but at least you will have something to fall back on if the Value does not come through.   Unfortunately, there is not a waiting list, so you are going to have to keep checking daily.

    You can also call a Disney reservationist at (407)WDW-DISNEY to see if you split your time between 2 Values if they can squeeze you in. 

    I really hope this works out for you, especially since you are locked in with your airline tickets.  Please let me know if you get this resolved or if you need more help!  Good luck!
