I booked ADR's mths ago & some required a credit card hold & now I've added the free DP. Do I need to add the DP to these ADR's or just tell the CM at the restaurants? One CM told me by phone that I have to cancel and rebook my ADR's. Is this nece

    Hi Melanie!

I would strongly recommend that keep all of your existing Advanced Dining Reservations because you can lose them if you try to re-book.  You do not need to re-book your Advanced Dining Reservations if you have a Disney Dining Plan (even the free Disney Dining Plan).  All you have to do is to tell your waiter or waitress that you have the Disney Dining Plan (they will most likely ask you when you are seated or before they take your order if you have a Disney Dining Plan). Most of the Signature Restaurants in Walt Disney World require a credit card hold to secure your Advanced Dining Reservations and your credit card will be charged $10.00 per person if you fail to show up or fail to cancel 24 hours before your Advanced Dining Reservation.  Some restaurants like Cinderella's Royal Table for example, require the price of the whole meal to be charged to your credit card upon booking the Advanced Dining Reservation and then if you use a Dining Plan Credit to pay for your meal your credit card will be refunded.

I hope that all of your meals are magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
