Hi Hannah,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to discuss the
Disney Dining Plan options!
It sounds as if you are interested in the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. As you consider this plan, I suggest that you review the Quick-Service dining options. I always check menus when available. To do so, go to the restaurant's home page and click on View Menu. We actually only do the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan because we love to do at least one waiter-service meal per night of stay. I suggest that you compare the menu from a Quick-Service restaurant like
ABC Commissary with the menu from
Coral Reef Restaurant. With waiter-service meals, we get a chance to enjoy character dining experiences and a host of other restaurants.
Hannah, although I cannot list all of the snack options here, I can say that there are A LOT of options. When we arrive, we usually head to our resort's food court area to see the snack options there, then, in the parks we pick up snacks from various carts and/or restaurants. A snack entitlement is typically a single serving. We have used them for Mickey pretzels, frozen lemonades, ice cream bars, fruit and smoothies. If a food truck or restaurant does not have signage, we ask a cast member in that location to identify the snack options. While you can use your snack entitlements in the parks or resorts, use your refillable mugs at the resort, unless you bring them to the park to get water during the day!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
