Hi Meghan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park rules and regulations.
According to Walt Disney World Resort theme park rules, backpacks larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high cannot be brought into the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Unfortunately, if your backpack does not fit within these guidelines, you may be denied admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
Theme park rules state that security guards and Cast Members reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave a theme park, without refund, liability or compensation of any kind if they consider that the circumstances so require.
Please keep in mind that over-stuffing a backpack or placing large items inside of it can change the size. In this circumstance, it is up to the security guard’s discretion whether or not to allow you to enter the theme park with your oversized backpack.
Meghan, if you have any other questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
All EARS,
Priscila
