Ahoy, Sarosh! Welcome aboard the planDisney panel. My pals and I are so glad that you thought to cruise our way with your question.
I'm excited about your plans to spend Independence Day aboard the
Disney Dream. Keep an eye out for some extra fun for the holiday. You may see some special decor or events planned for the day. Once you step onboard, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your handy guide to what is happening on the ship and where to find it. It's going to be so much fun!
As you are aware, the
"it's a small world" nursery! is temporarily closed at this time. I'm hopeful that it will open in the very near future, and that you will be able to attend any beverage tastings that appeal to you.
Beverage tastings like the wine or beer tastings that you mentioned are adult-exclusive activities only, and no children are permitted to attend.
Captain Mickey and his pals do love to accommodate younger sailors. As you are
traveling with a little one, I want to be sure that you are aware of the many amenities offered to you. Please let your stateroom host know if you need a portable crib, diaper disposal unit, or a bottle warmer. You will find that high chairs are readily available in the dining areas throughout the ship. Pureed vegetables are available via room service and on request during dinner in the main dining rooms of the ship.
When it comes to exploring the ship, don't miss the chance to splash around in
Nemo's Reef. And while visiting
Castaway Cay, the Spring-A-Leak waterplay area is a big hit for many toddlers. If you'd care to enjoy a bicycle ride around the island, bicycles with an infant seat are available for rental on a first-come-first-served basis. However you choose to spend your time, I'm sure it will be full of happy memories.
Please sail back to planDisney again if you have further questions. It's a pleasure to help guests chart their course for adventure with the Disney Cruise Line.
Have a magical voyage,
Adrianna
