How can I book wheelchair accessible travel from LAX to Disneyland and vice versa?

Hey there, hi there, Jacqueline! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to have you stop by with your planning question for us!

I am so excited for you to be heading to Disneyland Resort this week! If you have booked a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package, you can reach out to the Vacation Packages line, and they can help you add transportation to your package. If you don't have a package booked, I tried reaching out to a Cast Member, and unfortunately, the transportation service they recommend does not have accessibility services listed. They did suggest contacting Best Limousine directly at (800) 827-7411 for rates on accessibility. I have also heard that ride-share services do have accessibility options. Usually, you will need to go to settings in that service's app to make sure you have wheelchair access toggled on in order to show options for you.

In preparation for your arrival at the parks, I always recommend taking a look at the Mobility Disabilities information so that you can plan ahead on navigating the parks and attractions. Then you can head to the Rides and Entertainment listings and use the Accessibility and Advisories feature to see which rides will require transfer, which attractions have wheelchair access vehicles, and more.

Jacqueline, thanks so much for bringing us your question. I hope you have a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
