When can I book a WDW resort hotel for January 2020? My Disney Experience website doesn’t allow beginning dates beyond 12/31/19

Hi Michael.  I'm excited to see that you are getting ready to plan your 2020 Walt Disney World vacation.

Picking a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is one of my favorite parts about planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  There are so many fun options to choose from! If you are looking for suggestions, I have favorites in every price range.  If you are looking in the deluxe category, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my very favorite.  I just can't get over the dreamy views of Cinderella Castle from just about anywhere at the resort.  In the moderate price category, my go-to happens to be Disney's Caribbean Beach.  This resort has an amazing pool and large rooms that you can't beat for the price. If you're interested in the value category, I always love staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Fun memorabilia, bright colors and an amazing food court puts this resort at the top of my list.

I think you'll be happy to know that you can actually go ahead and make your room-only reservation now.  Guests have the ability to make room-only reservations 499 days in advance by calling the number listed on the Walt Disney World Phone Directory page of the website.  If you are looking to book a complete vacation package instead, those reservations typically become available online the summer before the next calendar year.  So I'd keep an eye out around early June for your booking dates to open up.

I hope this helps and happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
