Disney Tales of Magic from the
reserved viewing area was one of my family’s favorite memories from our time at Disneyland Paris. We had such an amazing view of the projections and water effects! So let’s chat about getting you an equally incredible view of the nighttime spectaculars.
If you booked a
Hotel + Ticket Package directly through Disneyland Paris, you can add the reserved viewing area once you’ve paid for your package in full (subject to availability). On the website, go to “My Bookings” and click into your reservation. Under the “Your booking” section, expand “Your Extras” to see what’s available.
Otherwise, all other guests can book the reserved viewing area up to seven days in advance. So, depending on which day you’re planning to watch Disney Tales of Magic, you may already be able to book.
To do this, open the
Disneyland Paris mobile app and go to “Shows and parades: Preferred access,” scroll down to the “Parade and nighttime shows: Reserved viewing area” section, and press the “Select” button. Here you can choose which show or parade you’d like. You’ll need to have your theme park ticket linked in order to purchase.

When it’s time to watch Disney Tales of Magic, I’d recommend leaving plenty of time to get to the check-in area (near the entrance to Frontierland). It can be challenging to navigate around the crowds waiting for the show to begin as you get closer to the start time.
