If I book a value resort with the free dining offer, on average how much would it be per person to upgrade to the quick service dining plan.

Hi Deborah and welcome back to planDisney.

As a fellow UK Guest, I am super excited about the Free Dining and Drinks Offer for 2026 visits to Walt Disney World which was announced recently. This is such a great Deal for us Brits and offers a great saving when we typically visit for at least 2-weeks at a time.

My family love having a Disney Dining Plan when visiting Walt Disney World. Not only are they a great way to budget for your trip, knowing that the majority of your food and drink is paid for before you arrive, they are also really easy and convenient to use, during your stay.

Going back to your question, Deborah, unfortunately, until booking opens, no-one knows what the cost will be to upgrade from the Free Quick-Service Meal included when you stay at a participating Value Resort Hotel to the full Quick-Service Dining Plan

The great news is that booking opens on 29 April 2025 so there's only 2 more days to wait before all will be revealed!

My best advice would be to head on over to the Walt Disney Travel Company's website on 29 April 2025 where you will be able to price up the additional cost of upgrading to the Quick-Service Dining Plan based on the actual dates of your visit, length of stay and number of guests in your individual travel party.

Top Tip - Don't forget to make use of Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering when redeeming your Dining Plan entitlements. This is a great way to save precious time, waiting in line, to order food, whilst at Walt Disney World. Leaving you with more time to enjoy all of the amazing attractions, entertainment and character experiences on offer.

I hope that this information has been of use, Deborah. Please do feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any other help with the planning of your 2026 trip to Walt Disney World.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
