Can I book a vacation 2 years in advance?

    Hi Kelly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question, and I love that you are a super duper planner. You'll definitely want to 'like' and 'follow' the Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media channels to ensure that you don't miss a minute of new Disney Parks news.

While Special Offers, Deals and Discounts are released anywhere from four to 12 months in advance of the dates of travel, the reservation system for Disney's Resort Hotels does go out 499 days in advance, which is about 16 months before your desired vacation dates. Planning this far in advance requires a few extra steps, but I promise it will be worth it.

At 16 months out you'll only be able to book a Room-Only reservation as ticket prices and Disney Dining Plan details usually aren't known that far in the future. But nabbing your room first will not only ensure that you'll stay in your desired Disney Resort Hotel, you'll be able to add the other elements to your vacation as they become available. Even better, you'll only need to pay for one-night's stay at the time of the room-only booking as a way to guarantee your reservation until you add your theme park tickets and dining plan. Do note that your entire vacation reservation must fit within those 499 days, so you'll be able to book your reservation as soon as your check out day is 499 days away.

A reservation this far out can only be made by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation phone line, which is (407) 939-1936. This is also the number you'll call when adding your tickets and dining plan later.

I hope this helped, Kelly, and We'll See You in two years!
