If we book a vacation at the Walt Disney World Dolphin or Swan are we still eligible to participate in the Dining Plan or Magical Hours?

Hi Catherine! The Swan and Dolphin are popular resort destinations for families when they come to Walt Disney World. Their location is great as they are situated between Epcot and Hollywood Studios and you can walk to both easily or take the boats. Since they are not Disney owned you can not participate in the Disney Dining Plans so that is certainly something to consider when working through your budget for your trip. The Shades of Green as well as the Downtown Disney resorts also cannot use the plans. The good news is that all guests at the Swan and Dophin can take advantage of the Disney park's Extra Magic Hours. This is a great opportunity to visit the parks when they aren't quite as crowded as they are mid day. Head over an hour early or stay a few hours later then the official times and enjoy! Those are great days to consider a nap!
