How can I book a vacation using the payment plan method? How long can you book out and use it and how do the payments work.

Hiya, pal, and welcome to planDisney! There's nothing like that feeling of booking your dream vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort and immersing yourself in the planning as you count down the days to your magical visit! As a planner and budget-conscious vacationer, I'm happy to chat with you about how you can pay over time on your Disney vacation package!

Because your priority is paying over time and setting up a payment plan, a vacation package allows you to bundle your Disney Resort hotel reservation with your theme park tickets and even add on a Disney dining plan if you choose. For Disney vacation packages, you can book with a set deposit (currently this deposit is $200, but prices are subject to change) and make payments at any time leading up to your vacation. Your vacation package will need to be paid in full at least 30 days before check-in when you use this option. What I love most about this is the flexibility it offers; I can make payments online whenever I choose, and can also pay using Disney gift cards (I like to look for special savings offers on the gift cards at retail stores to help save a little more!)

At this time, Disney vacation package bookings are available through December 31, 2025, so if you're planning to visit next November, you can book now, allowing you close to a full year to spread out your payments. I always recommend keeping an eye on the Special Offers page; even after you've booked a vacation, if a new promotion is released that your trip qualifies for, you are usually able to modify your reservation to include these new offers. You never know what new pixie dust may magically appear to give you some additional vacation savings (or more money for Mickey-shaped snacks, at least!)

I hope this is helpful, and I hope you are able to book your reservation and start making payments to get you to the magic in 2025! If you have any additional planning questions or need any recommendations for resort choices, restaurant recommendations, or anything else, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always here to help!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
