    How do I book a vacation stay at a wdw hotel using points ? I’ve spent hours trying to navigate to do this

    Hey there, Wendy!  Welcome to planDisney!

    As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I love choosing to stay at different Resorts each time I visit Walt Disney World Resort –– it makes every trip feel like a whole new world!  While we may return to Central Florida over and over again, each experience is fresh and full of pixie-dusted adventures for my family.  How exciting that you'll be opening the door to even more magic with a Disney Collection exchange during your upcoming stay!

    Disney Vacation Club has redesigned its Disney Collection, making it easier than ever for eligible Members to book stays at other Disney Resorts Collection hotels and exciting Disney Destinations around the world!  I'm sorry that you're having trouble booking an upcoming reservation –– I know how frustrating that can be!  Let's walk through the steps of booking a Disney Collection exchange to get you back to planning your next magical adventure:

    1. Hover over the "Destinations" tab on the Disney Vacation Club website and select "Disney Resorts Near & Far" from the drop-down menu.
    2. On the next page, click the "View All Resorts" button to show the full list of Disney Collection Resorts and select your preferred Resort.
    3. Click on "View Points Charts & Calculator" to open a calendar showing the Points required for each date and room type.
    4.  Once you're ready to proceed, give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 to check Resort availability and book your reservation.

    Each Disney Resorts Collection exchange reservation requires a non-refundable $95 transaction fee and reservations for most Resorts fall under the "Rule of Four", meaning they must be booked before the last four months of your Use Year if your stay will occur during that same Use Year.

    If you're driving to Walt Disney World Resort or renting a car during your stay, you'll be happy to learn that you'll enjoy the same parking perks at Disney Resorts Collection hotels that you do at DVC Resorts when you book with Vacation Points. Members receive complimentary standard overnight self-parking at their Resort, as well as at all Walt Disney World theme parks. How great is that?!
