Hi Prima,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with such great questions!
Although you can certainly
speak with a Cast Member by phone, I typically book our
vacation packages online. Once you click on that vacation package link, click on the link that says Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today. From there, you should be able to search your dates and find all available resort hotels. Once you select a resort hotel, then you can select theme park tickets.
As you consider resort hotels, think about the amenities you prefer and the
resort transportation options. We prefer resort hotels with multiple transportation and dining options. On our last visit, we stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We loved having access to Walt Disney World monorail, bus, and water transportation, as well as a walking path to Magic Kingdom.
This summer, we are planning to stay a few nights at
Disney's Pop Century Resort and it has access to the
Disney Skyliner. We also adore Disney's Contemporary Resort because it has Chef Mickey's and California Grill. The views from California Grill are spectacular. And, the walk to Magic Kingdom from this resort hotel is no more than 10 minutes.
Once you choose a resort hotel and book a vacation package, be sure to create a
My Disney Experience account. After you create an account, link your vacation package to that account using the confirmation number. Once your vacation package is linked, make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for each day that you have valid theme park admission. I strongly recommend that you make those park pass reservations as soon as possible to be sure you can visit all of the parks during your trip. Check the
theme park availability calendar to see park pass availability.
Prima, I hope this helps you get started! Prior to your visit, also download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. And definitely make advanced dining reservations!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
