If I book a vacation and my son turns 18 a few day into it, will the entire booking be at a child rate or adult rate for him?

    Hi Jaynee,

Just to clarify with you that a childs rate for Park Tickets and the Dining Plan at WDW are ages 3-9 years old.  An adult rate applies to guests aged 10+, so your 18 year old (or now 17 year old) son will already be considered an adult because he is over 10 years old.  If your son was on the cut-off age between a childs price and an adults price (i.e. 9 years old going on 10 during your vacation dates), he would be considered a child throughout your dates of travel even though his age would change to an adult category during your trip.  A guest will remain the age that they were booked at for the duration of a trip regardless of a Birthday occurring during the vacation, so if you are concerned about an "extra" charge for a 3rd guest/Adult in your Resort room because he would now be considered an adult for a room reservation, he would be considered the age he was at time of booking/travelling.  Hope this helps!

    Best wishes,
