If I book a vacation package without the dining plan and decide later I want to add one on, can I do that? Or do I have to add it when booking?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Taylor!

My family loves visiting Walt Disney World, and for us, a highlight of each Disney day is where we've chosen to dine.

If you decide to book a vacation package to The Most Magical Place on Earth and would like to add a Disney Dining Plan to that package at a later date, you may easily do so. If your Disney Resort Hotel Package does not include dining, you may modify that package and add dining at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

I recommend that you check out the menus of some restaurants you'd like to visit, and estimate the cost of items you'll likely order. You may find out that a day's worth of Disney dining is less expensive when using a Disney Dining Plan. This is usually the case with my family. We've enjoyed the Disney Dining Plan as well as the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, and can't wait to try out the new Disney Dining Plan Plus on our upcoming visit!

Happy planning, Taylor! Be sure to us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
