Hi Carol, and welcome to planDisney!

No matter how you reserve your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, the great news is that it will result in the same magical outcome, which is a win/win in my book! From experience, I can not sing the praises of the Disney Dining Plan enough because it was a great value that allowed us to budget our meals.

Anyone who makes a Disney Resort Hotel package reservation and wants to upgrade that package to include the Disney Dining Plan (for arrivals on or after January 9, 2024) can log into their My Disney Experience account and visit “My Plans” to change the reservation. However, if you reserve through a 3rd party, like Costco, you would need to make contact with them to make the changes to your reservation and pay the difference.
