Melissa,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
The Walt Disney World site currently lists packages through the end of 2022. While there is no official date for when Disney releases reservation packages for 2023, like those that include special discounts, tickets, and other features, in the past they have done so in the late May/early June time frame. That is when you would be able to see package prices for 2023 on the website. Now I am not promising that you are days away from seeing those 2023 packages posting on the website, but if past history holds, it should not be too long.
While Disney has not yet released dates in 2023 for package reservations for you to see on the website, you can make a resort hotel room-only reservation for up to 499 days out. So as of the time of this answer you can book resort hotel rooms through mid-September 2023. So, you could book your hotel for a March stay right now! This would help you secure your preferred vacation destination hotel. However, to do so you would have to call Disney directly at
407.939.1936.
By the way, if you book a room-only reservation now, as those packages are released for 2023 you should be able to apply most (but not necessarily all) to that initial resort hotel reservation, adding in those other elements you will want for your trip. You can find
Special Offers listed on the website, but I also recommend regularly checking the
Disney Parks Blog, as they will often be the first place to announce any special programs.
BONUS TIP #1If you don't know which resort hotel to pick, start looking at the
Plan Disney Pocket Guides to the resorts. The overviews can help you narrow your search down with information on transportation options, dining, and resort amenities.
BONUS TIP #2Visiting in March is an ideal time to dust off those summer swim trunks and get the pool season started! Disney resort hotel pools are heated year-round to around 82 degrees (about 28 degrees Celsius), so with even just decent weather your pool time could be ideal.
If you want to dive into the deep end even more, you could visit one of the Disney water parks! If you do, I strongly recommend you consider booking one of the reserved spaces. At
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park you can book either a
Beachcomber Shack or a
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas reservation. In both cases you get a "home base" where you can keep your belongings and give your family a place to meet up. In the case of the Beachcomber shacks, you also get a nice, secluded place with incredible views of the wave pool for your family to connect and relax between activities. Disney's other water park,
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, has similar options as well.
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
